Good trem for a stringthru?

Post by MTLasater » Thu Sep 06, 2007 11:42 am

I'm thinking of putting a tremolo on one of my Toronados.  Both of them are stringthru bodies, and as I'm not a fan of the strat trem, does anyone have any ideas?
I can't help about the shape I'm in, I can't sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thin.  But don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to.

Bigsby, Bigsby, Bigsby!

Just leave the ferrules, it won't hurt anything.  You'll just be able to see the holes from the back.
Damn kids, get off my lawn!

Yeah, that's what I was thinking.  I've wanted a Bigsby ever since seeing Neil Young live.

I'd go for the Bigsby too
like Stereordinary said :
The best part about the Bigsby B5 (this is actually a B50, but they're the same design) is how non-evasive they are to the guitar's top.  No routing required, just four small screws!

Yeah, I was just worried about what I'd have to do in the process.  The bizarre bridge that the older Toronados (like mine) have are a bit more awkward than the later ones, which would be easy to do a Bigsby on, since they have a Tune-O-Matic style setup.
