Does anyone have any experience with Ampeg Superjet series of amps?
The Ampeg SJ-12R or Ampeg SJ-12T ?
How do they compare to the similar Fender products?

Re: Ampeg Superjet series of amps?
I have the superjet with treble/mid/bass EQ control and "Dimension" reverb, no tremolo (I think that's the SJ-12R? not sure on the model numbers). Bought it for $275 off craigslist, mint condition, and I love it. A loud 50 watt amp with nice glassy cleans, great reverb, and it is so light it can be carried with one hand so you don't break a sweat, what's not to love? I haven't played a whole lot of fenders so I can't really compare, but the superjet is very pleasing to my ear and doesn't leave me wishing for anything else, so I think it gets the job done and at a ridiculously good price at that.

Oops, forgot to say that I changed the speaker out on it to a eminence cannabis rex out of boredom one night, and it does sound much better than the stock speaker. The stock speaker is the only negative I can think of on these amps, and it's not even THAT bad compared to similar situations like those terrible wharfdales they put in new AC15s. Not to mention dropping the cash on a new speaker isn't even a problem because a used SJ is already so cheap in the first place.
