Vintage bridge cover home-made repro!

Post by Soiouz » Thu Oct 26, 2006 1:03 pm

:-[ Ok, I know this is a high geek-factor topic, but with a simple pair of pliers I have made my AVRI bridge covers look like vintage ones (with the narrow flat edges).

I think it looks much better.

I've wondered about trying that but never did.

Details! How did you keep from scratching it.
Why should we buy postage stamps? We can make our own.

An old nylon guitar strap between the pliers and the cover!  Not a scratch!
