I got pics of another faded IBM XII...but not with a tortoise shell guard....

That guitar is just stunning.................

Nothin to add, I'm just hypnotized by the fire on the pickguard and the ice on the rest of it.... amazing guitar.

Rumbleseat has had many, many cool guitars over the years. I believe they had a Teal Green Metallic (white guard) the same time they had the IBM.
Competition Stripes make them play FASTER.

yes, indeed...I wonder where these guitars go...they usually disppear of the site, never to be seen again :(

they're only a few hours drive from me.. I just can't bare the thought of walking out of there empty handed, I fear I might snap and dash out of there with an arm full of offsets  :o

I have to say, I'm a bit disappointed. I don't like the way ice blue metallic looks when faded. I guess I'll get ready for the lynching...

Funny, I ONLY like this color when it's yellowed or greened a bit.

And the Tort guard makes it almost perfect... I might even choose this over Oly white someday  :o
