Maple cap neck....

Post by lalalandstudios » Tue Oct 10, 2006 4:01 pm

This "dealer" is selling what they allege is a maple cap JM neck for ONLY $5K. Now the problems include the 2 stamp which indicates a $trat neck code, changed tuners, and the decal looks fake to me.  Even if its real, I think he's on drugs - thats $trat neck money ;)

There definitely were occasional maple cap mid 60's JM's (nice pic in Gruhn/Carters book), and maybe someone would pay a premium for an all original maple cap necked guitar, but just the neck????????
