Just adding a few more pictures I shot today:
I've been toying with the idea of retro-fitting blocks and binding, or at least just binding, to this. When I got it the neck was severely twisted, and I ended up removing the old fretboard, sanding the neck flat, then fitting a new board. I used a 25.5" board with the nut where the first fret was to make it just over 24" scale. The bridge radius is only 16", so I used a 10-16" compound board. I need to re-fret it anyway - I rushed it a bit when I fitted the new fretboard and didn't have the right tools and experience to make a perfect job. Things are different now, so it seems like an interesting opportunity, and since it's a new fretboard anyway, it feels like I've got nothing to lose.
Stupid?
Unneccessary?
Worthwhile?
