i was gonna say restore it to Fiesta, that color looks original, but yeah.. the black under has me confused.

if you can't find the original custom color (if it was) then:

INCA or that shade of SHoreline you have above...

gonna be way classier than black. and my main guitar is black...

My vote is either Fiesta Red or Shoreline Gold w/ matching headstock, both with the current mint guard.

Shoreline gold dude ... all the way. If I was putting one together from scratch and getting the body finished, it'd be shoreline. There's a mid-60s refin'd shoreline gold P-Bass for sale over here that just looks amazing in that colour. It was originally a sunburst model though, so it's got a tort guard ... and it's stunning.

Yeah, man! Leaning on Shoreline the last day or so. But I'm thinking maybe you don't want me have an inca master of my own! :P

Who doesn't love Inca Silver? Almost looks shoreline with the yellow tint.. Hmmm :shifty:

I do love some aged Oly. Particularly these... (the first one is, or was Dano's 64)

Back to Aged Inca vs. Shoreline...sometimes I have a hard time discerning the two. If Shoreline has no yellowing it almost looks more silvery. Yet if Inca IS yellowed it looks more gold...

Either way, I prefer a more yellowed or brown hue to my golds or silvers. It also helps to contrast the form of the pickguard nicely - becomes less monochromatic.
