Ampeg B-100R

I just picked up one of these to replace my existing bass rig. It's a tube/solid state hybrid, has 4-band tone dials, and the coup de gras... Ultra Low, Ultra Mid, and Ultra High tone boost circuits. With the gain at a scant 3, the master volume at 2, and the Ultra Low boost switched on, windows will rattle. I think if I ever play this thing at top volume it may bring about the Apocalypse.

It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.

I really like the look of those. I'd really like to pick up a new bass amp some time soon.

They sound a lot better than they look.

I have the same one FUZZ_KING has and it's a great little amp for the money. It's a great little amp period. The 50w is already pretty brutal, I can only imagine what the 100w can do.

Oh man I should get to know my gear better... we took the Ampeg to the rehearsal room this weekend because we need it for the next gig and i couldn't hear myself on guitar, and I thought WTF... thus checking the Ampeg again, and it's the 100W version. Haha.
