the old JC-77 I have has the two trebles as well. The later JC-120 has a bright switch.northern_dirt wrote:
Yeah.. gotta love and amp with Treble.. and HI treble.. (I think this was only on the JC 120 Heads... )
yeah, my main issue with buying one would be that I'm not currently in a band where I'd be able to make use of one. Just wouldn't work with the stuff my band does.northern_dirt wrote: Its THE solid state amp
I don't know about that one. I always thought the same when I played them in a store or something, but I used one in my old band. If you turn it up over so loud that the speakers start to sound as if they are on their last breath, the "distortion" knob up to maybe 5-7ish and use a heavy strum it got a tone that I liked, just stay the hell away from that bright switch!! But turning up that loud isn't good for your, or anyone in a 1km radius's earsnorthern_dirt wrote: Yeah the distortion is best avoided hahahha
I think it depends on what yer after.. With distortion I used to only use Marshall tube amps cranked.. the JC can't do thatLeonDanger wrote:I don't know about that one.
