It's so tiny and weighs almost nothing.

Demos sounded really good, especially on the higher gain II setting - but the key for me was the built in reactive load so I can take it direct to an interface and IR plugin.

Mixed impressions so far - at first I thought it was an unusably dark amp with my usual IRs but it responds better to Fender Deluxe Reverb-style IRs than the Greenbacks I use 99% of the time (though the tone knob still needs to be at 2PM or above it seems). With my real cabinet (2x12 Greenbacks) it's not too dark but an American ceramic-style speaker would probably suit it better.

The line out is reactive but it doesn't seem to sound as good (duller, darker) as the reactive load in my Fryette Power Station for going direct to the interface, which raises the question of what's the point if I'm going to have a 50W tube amp fired up when I'm using it. Debating whether to keep working at it or eating the 15% restocking fee and return shipping.

In my experience if you’re going for cleaner sounds dark tends to work against you.

With a treble booster or brighter dirt pedals it can be an asset in that it tames the fizz.

Would swapping tubes help?
