I thought instead of starting a new thread I'd instead bump this one:

I'm looking at the JC 22 as a new bedroom amp. It's marketed as a fully solid-state amp, but people actually looking at the schematics are saying it's actually DSP-based at its core - and the hall-type reverb and chorus are digital too. It only has a clean mode, not the classic distortion circuit, and save for the FX send it's fully stereo: stereo inputs, stereo FX return, stereo chorus (or rather, the chorus only affects one of the two speakers) and at 30 watts and 2x6.5" it's nicely manageable for home use. Youtube demo's sound incredible, even that annoying guy from that 60 Cycle Hum channel managed to make it sound good.

Any firsthand experience here?

I particularly really liked this Roland demo (and it features a Jaguar!):
