The schematic isn't so clear, anyway they don't look like any other common footswitches.
I've not completely understood the channel switch too.. ???
What source input is? The cable coming from the guitar?

If you have some basic skills with soldering I firmly suggest you to build those switch and don't try other ones.

Yes and No. There are actually two different footswitches in that picture, one changes the amps channel (fig 1) and the other mutes the effect loop and the reverb (fig 2). Turning the effects loop and the reverb on/off is your garden variety foot switch, like this: Here. The boss one wouldn't work.
Now the Channel switching is a little more complicated. It looks to me like you would have to build, or have someone build that part of the footswitch. Heres how that one works as I understand it: You plug your guitar into the footswitch (thats the part that say's "input from source"), there is an SPDT switch, then from the footswitch it goes through a stereo guitar cord into the Remote plug on the front of the amp. So if you were using the footswitch nothing would be plugged into ch1 or ch2.
It might be easier to just get an A/B switch, and go from that into ch 1 and ch 2 on the front of the amp.
Why should we buy postage stamps? We can make our own.

thanks for the feedback,

pullover, did you see the amp
its in a "studiomaster" thread in this amps forum

it has two seperate inputs for the channels
you can plug into one and it has a push/pull knob to switch between them

so i could get the switchblade, go out from it into both channels
and switch bewtwwen them, right?

sorry I'm not a techy type

thanks

Mad question:
Have you tryed jumpering the channels? if it works an A/B/C switch could be a special weapon.. ???

I just checked it out, that amp looks sweet!  8) That's a really rare amp I looked for the schematics to see if there was a way to jumper it but I can't find one without paying for it.

That's exactly right. You might try plugging into channel one and channel two with two different guitars and make sure that you get a signal from both before buying the switchblade. It's possible, though not likely, that when you are plugged into channel one it bypasses channel 2's input entirely.

If you wanted to try jumpering the channels as Superfuzz suggested you would need an ABY switch, but I would think with all of the features that your amp already has that it would be overkill. Cant hurt to try it though.
Why should we buy postage stamps? We can make our own.

hi guys

secret weapons, nice jumpers, you have me curious now  :-\

heres some more info - not  a schematic but an open view of the guts of the head,
does this answer any questions,

(i have a combo but its the exact same head and reverb unit)

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/richandkri ... master.htm

I'm doing my best to find out about this amp, but theres not much out there,
anything you can tell me (or even guess) about this amp is welcome,
I am looking to get tubes to try,

Many thanks,
