Fender Twin Custom 15?
Anyone ever tried one of these out? What're your thoughts on these? I've been thinking about picking one of these up...

You mean the Twin Reverb with the 15? I played a vintage one a while back when I was looking at amps. Great Surfy tones with the JM.

Yep, that's the one. Fender came out with it again a few years back.
Hopefully more people have tried it out, preferably the newer one.

I've played the new Twin Custom 15 and found it a great amp. The 15" speaker really smoothed out the sound and it was quite versatile -- super clean but very nice.

I played one at GC before I bought my Silverface TR. I really liked it, and was tempted to buy one. They sound great. Perfect for surf and twang!
Plus, it's something you don't see everyday!

Re: Fender Twin Custom 15?
Well, I have a late 70s Vibrosonic Reverb, which essentially is a silverface 1x15" twin. Got a JBL D130F in it. I much prefer this one over anything I've played that ha 12"s in it, though that is mostly because I also use the amp for organ, and there the low frequency response is really important. This combo just doesn't fart out, which is great.
And of course it sounds god-like with the JMs.

I really want this amp so I'll probably pick one up rather soon, hopefully. Should sound really nice with a bass vi as well, might just have to buy/make one.

I was about to say it would probably sound awesome with a VI.

"I believe they're envious."
