Fender Blues Deville serial #

i am currently cataloging all my gear for insurance purposes.

i have a mid-nineties (original) Fender Blues Deville that i need the serial code and date for.

the Fender site said something about removing the back of the amp and looking/removing the amp chassis?

anybody know how to go about this?

Don't tell the insurance company that you play professionally(if you do).  They asked me, and I told them to define "professional." 

They'll charge you waaaay more!  She just said that if an instrument gets damaged at a gig, dont' tell them where it happened.

i like to think i am a professional, as i also think you consider yourself professional, ROS.

but i don't wanna take my fuckin amp (2nd owner, i am) apart to find the serial code.
