There’s a guy on IG that works for the new Hiwatt. We follow each other. I’ll ask him.

Still removing all the staples in the world from the baffle. All those ones in the tray are from one side only. I'm kinda surprised the grillcloth does not wrap around the sides of the baffle like it does on Fenders, Marshalls, Oranges and pretty much everything else I've seen.

Removing the old piping remnants so I can install new piping. The piping itself was cut off with a razor blade leaving just the support stapled in all around the suround so yay! More staples!

Alot of great work going on here! Thanks for sharing. Really like all the love you are sharing on this cab. Should be spectacular when you get done.

Well, for a long time the cab was buried under the projects of home ownership and not enough space to actually work on it. With spring cleaning and cleaning up our house to move, I have enough room to work on it and I fihured, it would be easier to move it one piece than in a bunch of pieces (that would be hard to keep all together!) so I'm trying to pound it out and get it done!

And the rig I have set of for keeping the grill cloth straight while I staple it on the baffle

I'm interested in how the grill cloth rig will work out. I can't quite imagine how this will go, unless the width you have between the clamped wood is the width of the baffle...maybe I just figured it out.
I have a 135 watt Fender Vibrosonic Reverb that needs new cloth and I've been trying to figure out the best way to attach it.

The baffle is underneath. I'm using the clamped wood to hold the grillcloth even and keep it from walking on a diagonal slowly as I staple it down. Also as a bit of weight.

I maybe think about things like workflow, consistency and sequencing too much.
