Re: CL Trade - 1974 Bassman Ten for my US-made, tweed Blues Jr... btw, the deal

Updated thread title...
;D

Well - I was ready to go on it, but apparently someone is coming by to pick it up today.
Ah, well. The bassman tens are pretty easily available here too.
They usually go for about $500-ish in much better condition.
I'm not sweating it.

I'm sure something else will pop up.                  {DRAMATIC FORESHADOWING}

There are always guys with big amps wanting to downsize to something smaller like a blues junior anyway.
I agree - they're not the greatest amps (by any means), but for what they are... it could be worse.
;)

for the record, i LURVE my blues jr. I changed the tubes in it and it currently sounds just filthy. They're just not worth much cashwise, was all i meant. My only complaints are no standby switch, the reverb's a bit crap, and it's far too loud for me, sadly! ^^;

Well - craigslisting doesn't always work out.
Sometimes, it's frustrating as all get out...
but SOMETIMES it does work out.
Sometimes, immediately after not working out...
LOL

I was bummed to have lost that bassman ten.
I imagine I'll cross paths with one again.
That said, I did part ways with the Blues Junior.

FOR THIS!

STRAIGHT TRADE!  :wtf:
It's mint, and plays beautifully.
