I haven't. It has kind of grown on me but if I want to flog it I think I've got a better chance of doing so with real glued tolex (this green stuff is stapled on). I could go with a non-traditional color but I think it's the piping that really makes these look sharp.

another small update:
i took my amp to the tech yesterday, and he was really excited to rebuild the preamp. he is a really knowledgable guy, he was all over it before i even handed him the schematics. it´ll be ready in two or three weeks, i can hardly wait to hear it
