Re: im getting an ac30cc2!!!!!
I can't wear earplugs at all. They give me horrible headaches (due to jaw problems I've had my whole life) unless I wear 100% foam ones and those make it impossible to hear enough to be able to perform. Not that I'm performing anymore unfrotunately...

I can't stand the foam ones either - nothing sounds like music anymore, jsut a muffled mess. The $150 I paid an audiologist to get musicians earplugs made was the best money I ever spent. There's no lasik surgery for your ears - hearing damage is a one way trip. My tinitus is not bad and I hope to keep it that way.
And to get back on topic, our drummer is pretty loud, but I've never had a problem keeping up with just a Vox JMI AC15, even in gigs with amps not miced. I only pull out the higher wattage gigs for outdoor gigs.

I can't hear the forest for all the falling trees.
