Tried em, never liked them..
Owned a princeton chorus..  someone gave me..

All I need is 3 combo amps..

Vox AC 15,
Marshall JCM 800 Combo
Roland JC-120...

I just need to get them now..
hahahha..
I have a Marshall 2555 50/100 Watt head and my son has a Roland Jazz chorus 120.
The Marshall doesnt sound that good anymore and I had to replace all the shitty plastic jacks on the JC 120.
I like the Marshall still though.

The Fender twin I have is an 81 and it is strong and loud and clean

I also have a Princton chorus. The cheaper fenders are made like crap. They sound good for a while and then fall apart and are hard to fix.

I am wondering if I should run the Marshall thru a Marshall 4X12 instead of the peavy 4X12 cab I have.
The good thing about Fenders is you can use lots of effects with them.  Effects dont seem to work well with the Marshall, since its sound overwhelms the effects.

Just my observations.

I only ever used a wah pedal with my Marshcall 900 1/2 stack..

But I was playing metal/punk and it didnt call for anything creative or effecty...

Yea when Marshalls sound good they sound great. They dont need a damn thing.

Im thinking I might just keep my JCM 900 head, and use one of those attenuators.
But it still seems like over kill.. Not even thinking about the space issue.

A guy I know once said "Having a marshall stack and using an attenuator to play it in your bedroom is like having an eighty pound Malamute but making it wear a sweater and sit on the couch and eat processed cheese and watch cable news."
