I played through one on my birthday a few months back with a Gretsch White Falcon...and it sounded God-like...but I can't afford either one  :'(

I do have an older ' 59 Bassman RI that sounds pretty heavenly and have a friend with a closet full of old Champs and other tweed amps, so I do love that sound!
