I want a Jazz Chorus.  Bad.

I want to know just how loud they can get.  I love headroom sometimes.

This one cost me $275 used from a music chain..

I couldn't put it past 2 without disturbing the neighbours...
Lots more low end than I remember with my JC 120 head
as well..

Jag + treble boost engaged = clanging death of ear drums.. haha

My gf loves her JC77, but I think she wants to try a small tube amp. Her Tele doesn't seem to be the best match for it. If only she had a huge hollowbody...

But then you'd might not find her as attractive.

I started to miss my JC120...
Then I stumbled across this..
It was buried under a Vox head
In a corner.. haha they also had
a JC -160.. what a monster..
I think it was $550 or thereabouts...

Yup.. they are considered by many
to be the best SS amp available.. well the 120
Version anyways..

If you look on guitar geek, you'll be surprised how many people use these bad boys..
The 120 and the 77..

Its very very very clean.. The distortion built in is a joke.. the chorus is amazing though..
They still make the JC-120 Combo's, all other JCs are discontinued, but you can find them
used from time to time..

I love headroom too. That's why I love my HH PA amp so much. AB-ing it with my Marshall is my idea of heaven.
