OK, so I saw this on the Bay.
Is it worth snapping up, sticking a new baffle and 1x12 speaker in and using as a cab? I'd want to close it up too.
Good idea? Bad idea?

I think it would end up costing a lot more than what it would be worth....
definitely an interesting project though

Meh. That's kind of what I figure.
Just really jonesing for another roomy 1x12 like the one I have at the moment. Would be great to have both my amps playing through matched(ish) cabs.
Although, I have to say this: I played through a friend's Orange 4x12 the other day. Holy sweet lord Jesus, that was an experience! If I could have two of those, I'd get rid of the 1x12 in a heartbeat, rehouse my Marshall combo as a head and run it side-by-side my HH PA head. THROUGH 8 SPEAKERS' WORTH OF ORANGEY GOODNESS!

I love playing through 4x12s...they do have a sound of their own...
I'll never get rid of mine...even if it's a bitch to carry, I'll always have it around...only paid £50 for it anyway, due to Mjet's helping hand
keep an eye on ebay, I'm sure the right cab will turn up

That seller is a member here BTW.
I'm sure there's lots of fun things to do with an empty Vox combo cab!

Put two great (and loud) sounding 10" Weber speakers in there and call it a day.
