Yeah, I will probably go ahead and pull those speakers, and replace the old ones.
I still need a cab to put the better speakers into (instead of just the boxes they came in), and then have the amp checked out/repaired, when they’re open again. But I can at least get it ready to be fixed & put up for sale.
And I may just go ahead and buy a raw cabinet in the meantime, try to get it nicely tolexed up and then slip those speakers into it.
Time is on my side...
