Does anyone have any experience with the Positive Grid Bias Head or Mini guitar head they make? I like the idea of tweakable amp designs, but it is hard to tell much from the online presence.
Their product demos are almost all from the manufacturer or paid endorsements. The comments sections seem to be mostly people complaining about having to wait for a Spark amp rather than info about the Bias amps.
I normally play in a punk pop band with an Egnater Tweaker 88 into a 2x12 Avatar cab with Eminence Lil' Texas neo speakers. I love the sound of this but dont always want the size/weight/setup time. Lately, I've been using my Bassbreaker 15 combo and it sounds good as well but the loss in headroom really makes me change my sound.
Any thoughts on whether the Bias Mini Guitar head (300w at 4 ohms) would work in a loud 5pc (3 guitar, bass, drums)
