Like those. A Vibro Champ reverb is a great idea. The reverb most be digital though.

Interesting. I’m guessing from the specification of “hall reverb” that the Vibro Champ will maybe have one of those Accutronics digital reverb packages. Or maybe whatever the crop of Chinese-made Bassbreaker amps have.
Then again they also mention it has a “bright switch,” which it does not. So perhaps it was an error. Wouldn’t be terribly hard to squeeze another tube, reverb transformer and small tank in there.

If I didn't have an amp already, I'd be all over that vibrochamp reverb

That’s quite a pair, covering home to gig. I like the 10” in the VC. Hopefully they got the tremolo right. Getting the weight down on the Pro is nice too.

I really want to like these but the digital effects on the VibroChamp is a bummer. I wish they'd not included those features and made this a wee bit cheaper. As is I feel like for a bit more I can get an actual vintage one.

I agree, the digital reverb is a bit of bummer. Why not a little spring tank in there? Even with a solid state driver! But overall I dig these!! Especially the Pro Reverb. It is like a big Princeton Reverb with a mid control!

Yeah, the digital reverb is disappointing. Save that for the Tonemaster series.

Well, a vintage one wouldnt have reverb at all.blunderbuss wrote: ↑Wed Jan 13, 2021 1:58 pmI really want to like these but the digital effects on the VibroChamp is a bummer. My Vox ac10c1 have a digital reverb. It's not good for surf sound or ambiant reverb, but it's ok to had a little wetness to the sound.
Since it's a Fender, the VibroChamp reverb must be better. I dont mind a digital tremolo if it's sound good. It's like a pedal on board.

Sure. I suppose that’s my point. If it’s an amp they’re saying is already a good pedal platform. I have reverb and trems I like. On my pedal board.

Ha. Yeah I have an AC30 with a great sounding trem and still have a trem pedal. Kind of better to have a bunch of flavors of stuff not sure I would ever want to be locked into the reverb or trem of one of these things.blunderbuss wrote: ↑Thu Jan 14, 2021 10:58 amSure. I-I don’t actually want to admit how many different reverb pedals I have and deeply love.

That's about the price of a vintage vibro champ, which means vintage ones will go up. Kind of like what happened with that Chris Stapelton (or whatever) brownface hand wired brownface princeton. They were priced the same. Brown face vintage princetons shot up over night.
I would grab one of those champ reverbs for 500 or so in a couple years.
I may have missed it, is it tube powered?

Re: 2 new Custom '68 Amp (Vibro Champ Reverb & Pro Reverb)
One of the amp's engineers is all over other forums and says the VC is too small to put a decent spring in, hence the chip reverb. I dunno, I think of it as a bonus, considering that Vibro Champs don't normally have any reverb. Personally, I'd rather have the 10" baffle and digital reverb than an 8" baffle and no reverb whatsoever. I'd be just happier with the 10" baffle. I did not like the silverface VC I had several years ago.
