Sounds wonderful, and great job getting the Doctor off of it. Has it lost the smell yet? I regret not picking this up but I'm glad it went to someone here and looks like it'll get some good usage.

Thankfully the smell isn’t too bad now! Wife hasn’t noticed the smell and it’s been in the living room for a while so I reckon we’re good!

Might try putting the original speaker back in at some point just to see how it sounds now I’ve removed the tone control from the circuit.

Looks like there's a crack in the base of the ECC83 unfortunately. Oh, and 'Foreign' in this context (1962) equates to 'Made in Holland'!
