so for those that don't know, i have a soft spot for the red knob fender tube amps of the 80's. popped into strung out in glasgow and they were photographing this monstrosity..... well obviously i bought it. who could say no for a champ 12 with faux snakeskin tolex and a bright yellow grill cloth made of the same mesh material on shoes (no really)

oh dear god, it looks bad. at least it can't look any worse in the hard light of day

how does it sound? fucking amazing. worth the £200 and eye strain from looking at it.

They're loud as fuck too. I've never seen a snakeskin one in the flesh and I'm mighty jealous.

I picked up one many thousands of years ago that was my first real amp. It's been sidelined with a hard-to-diagnose malady for a while now, and I do miss it. Need to search out a good repair guy near me.
