OP, its a 16 ohm Celestion gold. All i got, but it works and sounds great.
What Im mostly leaning towards, the 1x12 setup

I can get this guy delivered for 310$
My purple hotrod had a Celestion V30 and Idk that speaker always seemed kinda lame to me, but it could have just been the amp too.

I looked up the same cab with different 2x15 inch speakers and the guy said it weighs 86 lbs

Ohh sorry, it is a V30, not a gold. Imma need to borrow that cat meme ^

It sounds good to my ears. I would like to experiment with other speakers though.

Yeah, 1x12 for me. I prefer the smaller, more compact setup.

Im sure 2x12 would sound badass, but i just dont have a need for something that takes that much room.

1x12 is great but if you can handle it, get an old SUNN vertical 2x12 open back. I think that would be a great match.

Really open back? I would think a closed back cabinet would be the way to go?
I also gotta make sure the cab is wide enough for this head too, theyre a bit longer then then the traditional marshall head.
Also the price of a 1x12 is kinda dumb, its usually not that much more for any 2x12 Im finding

Well it depends on the sound you want. If you are trying to get that Canadian Marshall thing then closed back. If you’re gonna use it on stage and use it as a clean amp with pedals, open back.

Not on a stage anytime soon, but clean with pedals is more my speed. I never had a closed back cabinet before and have only owned combo amps up to this point. I thought having something different might be nice, but as a weight reduction thing to carry it places I wouldn't mind having it open back either.

1x12 convertible then! Haha. My favorite 1x12 is pretty expensive. It’s the Mesa Boogie Thiele cabinet. It sounds like both open and closed somehow.

Found one in van nuys for 380$

Not bad actually, I think it would fit the Traynor perfectly too. Didnt even consider Mesa Boogie honestly but this is exactly the suggestion I needed.

You know what I dont think it is. They look different then ones on musicians friend. I think this is just a boogie rectifier cab.
