building a speaker cab
Wondering if anyone has built their own 4x12 cabinet or an cab for that matter i want to power it with a fender deluxe but am wondering how tricky the wiring would be and what that would entail? Also speaker head recomendations would be of help. Thanks

Re: building a speaker cab
I'd say wiring a speaker cab is by far the easiest part of building a speaker cab but I've never tried to build one myself. I simply don't have the tools to do so.

Yes it would involve soldering, but soldering is hardly as difficult as woodworking is. At least from my experience. YMMV...

It can definitely be done, but it would be easy to come out with a crappy sounding and unsightly cab. I table saw ia almost a necessity. If everything is squared up perfectly and you can rip all of the pieces really accurately, it wouldn't be too difficult. There was a guy selling precut kits on eBay a while back. They would be a good starting point for a nice project.
