Any clues what might be up with my Marshall Amp?

Rather than binning my old Marshall Valvestate VS30R, I thought I’d try and fix it up to use as a spare whilst I’m shopping for a new tube Amp to go with the Jaguar.
I ordered a new reverb tank, which should fix the strange crashing/clanging noises (I took it apart, two of the springs are broken). My other problem is that the footswitch is no longer switching the channels.
I tested the footswitch unit – it seems OK (the switch itself is def. switching)… but when plugged in it looks like its getting no power as the LED doesn’t come on. Any ideas what I should be looking for? Nothing ‘looks’ out of the ordinary… its just a circuitboard
I am able to switch the channels using the button on the amp itself, but its difficult to hit that with my toe mid-song!
Cheers, Sam
p.s. I have ordered a new input jack for the footswitch, in case that has broken inside
