Roland Cube 20X...Decent practice amp?

Post by RumorsOFsurF » Thu Dec 06, 2007 11:56 am

I'm looking for a decent practice amp.....Something cheap that still sounds good.

Has anyone tried a Roland Cube20X?  Are they loud enough for rehearsal?  I think my fiance might get me one for Christmas.

Any other recommendations?

I have a Cube 30, they're great value for money (especially if you buy them 2nd-hand), don't know if they're loud enough for rehearsals though. I doubt the 20X will be loud enough.

Depends on the loudness of your drummer.

I didn't figure they'd be loud enough for rehearsal....Just curious.  Besides, our current drummer is loud as HELL!!

I'm mainly concerned with home use.  I live in an apartment, so I have to be really quiet. Plus, my neighbors are assholes who will call management at the drop of a hat. :-X

It's fine for home use. I don't know about the 20X, but I like the 30.
