(please tell me I don't really need to buy skoal :k )

I didn't use Skoal and my Deluxe Reverb grillcloth turned out OK.  Just use REALLY BLACK coffee (brew it dark).  Also, don't forget to remove the speakers before you do it as some of the coffe will make it through and get the speaker cone wet otherwise...don't ask me how I know this  :-[

haha that makes sense.. thanks

what about the piping? I forgot to hold off putting it back on so now that it's there I'd prefer not to take it off again.. I'm a little worried the coffee spray will turn it brown ??? (maybe I could tape it off, might be hit and miss though)

I have a 70's Marshall cabinet and the white piping IS yellowed.  You might want to dip the Marshall logo in coffee too while you're at it.  It doesn't stain that easy and if it does it'll look that much more authentic IMO. -Just my 2cents
