Gibson  GA20RVT

Anyone try one? I have never tried any gibson amps so i don't know

the only Gibson amp i've ever seen was a Gibson falcon.  it looked like a POS that would blow up if i plugged in, so i didn;t.  gibson amps aren't famous, so they must not be as good as fenders

50s Gibson amplifiers are similar to 50s Fender Tweeds...I wouldn't be too quick to dismiss them...

many people use them, and the prices have been steadily going up for quite a while.

The old guitar player in my band had a 59 tweed Gibson Super 400 amp - it absolutely killed.  I think Scotty Moore had one.  2x12, tube compression.  Nice beastie.

yeah thats almost like saying jazzmasters arent as famous as strats so they must suck :D

some of the old gibsons are weird.  Some of them use a small transformer instead of a tube for phase inversion
