If I would like to buy a Fender amp that'll break up....IT'S HERE!!!!PICS!!!!

.....what amp would that be???

I was thinking Bandmaster reverb or Pro reverb or something...

Any tips?

They all break up sooner or later .. what sort of volume do you want it to break-up at?

And what sort of Fender - sounds like you're looking for a vintage blackface or silverface? The heads are cheaper than the combos, and the SF Bandmaster Reverb has lots of fans. Personally I like the BF Tremolux if you don't need reverb.

Sooner I think....  :-\

I'd like the fantasic sound of a super reverb(BF and SF). Both clean and semi-clean.
Is there any head with tremolo which have this  sounds AND a overdriven sound(not hi-gain overdrive)??

a blackface bandmaster should do it if you don't need reverb. if you jump the two channels together, you get great breakup at gigging volumes.
it's a great amp and still fairly cheap.

you can definitely do it...I do it on my '65 Tremolux all the time :)

I scored a 1965 Blackface Bandmaster on German Ebay yesterday!!

It wasn't a bargain but not too expensive either I think. Not compared with Swedish prices anyway since the blackface market is out of proportion here.... 659 Euros and like nothing in shipping!

I've got a pair of RCA blackplates I'm going to throw in there when it arrives

it's very easy :)

guitar cord goes to input #1 on the normal channel....

then a patch cable goes from input #2 of the normal channel into input #1 of the vibrato channel

then you can mix and match all the volume and tone controls

same as with marshalls...

plug guitar in one input (e.g. "normal" channel), and patch the input 2 of that channel to the input of the other channel (e.g. "vibrato" channel) with a normal patch cable.

or vice versa. now you can blend the 2 channels with the 2 volume knobs, because the input signal is splitted and routed to both channels.

hope this is understandable.  :)

edit: sorry, the zhiv was a millisecond faster than me on the reply button!

I think this is the same technique that a lot of Marshall users exploit...  run a short cable from the input of the normal channel to the vib channel and plug your guitar into the remaining open jack on either.  You end up hitting both inputs at once and get some extra gain.
