Nice to see some Paradox joints on a board… the Oniric is wildly underrated! Miss my Defibrilator…

Re: your effects setup?
Here's my stupid sized rig.
Guitar -> JHS Pulp 'n Peel v3 Compressor -> Big Cheese Fuzz Clone -> ZVex Double Rock -> Freakshow FX Rabbit (Rat clone with clipping options) -> JHS Muffuletta -> Walrus Julia Chorus -> Ernie Ball Volume/Tuner -> MXR Script Phase 90 -> Way Huge Supa Puss -> Walrus Fathom Reverb -> Vox Delaylab -> Boss RV-6 Reverb -> Maneco Sweet 16 (EHX 16 Second Delay Clone) -> Amps
The amps are in stereo, coming out of the RV-6. It's a 1963 Ampeg Jet and a Vox Night Train head (with an Egnater 1x12 cab.) These sound incredible in stereo. The Ampeg has lots of lower mids, and the Vox has upper mids, so it's a really full sound.

Re: your effects setup?
This is my current board. I take one output from the reverb to my DRRI (with a Weber Mini Mass attenuator) turned up to just over 4 on the vibrato channel and the other to my AC10, volume nearly on full and gain very low. The Marshall drivemaster is my main drive pedal and helps me sit well in the mix - I play in a 3 piece. I’m really happy with the overall sound. The Velvet Fuzz, as you can probably guess, is a fuzz factory clone.

Re: your effects setup?
Have any recordings of this setup? I've been eyeing a Simplifier myself and am curious how it sounds. Also, I too would love a UAFX Dream 65

Re: your effects setup?
Here's a recent recording. Fender AVRI 62 Jaguar > Tumnus > Rattler > Simplifier DLX > Motu M2 > Logic. I'm using the Parallel amps mode (Fender & Vox at the same time thorugh left and right channels) and the plate reverb on the Simplifier DLX. Drums are MIDI and the bass is DI.Shadoweclipse13 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 06, 2022 10:19 pmHave any recordings of this setup? I've been eyeing a Simplifier myself and am curious how it sounds. Re: your effects setup?
That sounds great! In the parallel amps mode, is it one input to two separate outputs, or does the DLX have 2 separate inputs (say for different guitarists) as well?bea wrote: ↑Wed Dec 07, 2022 1:35 amHere's a recent recording. Side note: how do you like your Rattler? That's one that's interested me quite a bit.

Re: your effects setup?
You can do both mono input and stereo out from two channels or two guitars to have two separate outputs (one on left and one on right on the same track). The manual of Simplifier DLX explains it very well.Shadoweclipse13 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 07, 2022 2:10 am

and Rattler is the best rat I've ever tried. It's very versatile and can do the classic rat sound, the break-up overdrive, and violiny fuzzy sounds.

Re: your effects setup?
Interesting. I emailed the folks at DSM Humboldt and they never got back to me. It seems like it could do that, but I wasn't exactly sure that it could. My idea was to have something that could have 2 completely separate channels, that could have 2 different amp sim models, so in theory, I could play through one side and a friend could play through the other, but I wasn't sure that was possible.bea wrote: ↑Wed Dec 07, 2022 2:17 amYou can do both mono input and stereo out from two channels or two guitars to have two separate outputs (one on left and one on right on the same track). That's fantastic! I need to find one locally to try out one of their days! I love the stuff from Jam Pedals

It’s two surfy bear kits in one enclosure, from when they used to sell them as pcbs. Reverb and trem.sal paradise wrote: ↑Fri Dec 16, 2022 10:56 pmWell that’s a damm good looking board. My goth heart loves this.

The spring tray is mounted underneath with the power supply.
No foot switches because they don’t go off. Always on.

I’d have no reason to be lurking about the internet otherwise.
