Agreed. The sound... her playing... all of it. I can't help but be mesmerized by the fact that she's a drummer as well - which really speaks to how well she and Noah lock-in. It really is something to behold, live. So hypnotic...hamletpowpowpow wrote: ↑Sat Apr 09, 2022 10:20 pmReviving a dead thread just because I've been obsessed with this performance all year. The drums and bass are just so heavy here...!parry wrote: ↑Fri Oct 01, 2021 4:23 amFirst off - YES!
I have been obsessed with this video since it came out. I think there's something about the way this is mixed more bass-forward, that I prefer a bit more than on the proper recording.
With regard to your pedal question... I gleaned (from elsewhere) that the white pedal is a Red Panda Particle. And I believe the black pedal is a Red Panda Context (v1). If I were to guess on the ZVex pedal, I'd say Wooly Mammoth.
Always loved Case's bands, but FACS is just on another level.
But I feel like the bass playing isn't getting enough love here. Her tone is unreal. Is it just the Traynor, or is there anything else going on? She's got a few pedals going on. A moog, some other things...but just her straight distorted tone is perfect!
Yep all of it. And no, not enough love. That base sound is all TS-50. Those amps are absolute magic and despite being labeled 50 watts, they are ridiculous-loud and have no trouble flapping your pants and rumbling your gut.
Fighting for peace is like fucking for virginity.

Ahh I see what you guys were saying about that before, the pedal is almost unrecognizable versus what the website shows. Thanks!

Yeah, gotta ++ all of this... nothing to add, because I couldn't say it better...parry wrote: ↑Sun Apr 10, 2022 3:44 pmAgreed. The sound... her playing... all of it. So we just got back from the Bristol gig. They are very very tight. But FUCK ME they are LoUD!! Like ear splitting “will I ever hear properly again” loud. Only about 30 or 40 people but everyone seemed into it.

Thought I'd share this here, I came across this picture of Brian's setup from their last show in Chicago, playing their forthcoming LP in its entirety (I was not there but that's what their label advertised on IG)
Even though Red Panda pedals are still there, we can see some change :
Trap Door Electronics Dot Dot Damage
And two Fairfield Circuitry pedals, looks like Meet Maud Delay and Shallow Water and some Lehle splitter for stereo amp setup.
From the video screen cap it looks like a Roland JC40 on the top of a Traynor TS50.
Cheers
