EHX POG 3
EHX POG 3
Bill Rupert always kills it! It's a cool demo and this thing can do A LOT. I'm 50-50 on how it looks, but I kinda like the aesthetics? Haha. The idea of a POG with presets is awesome!!

wow EHX is stepping up their game. I'm into it. I hope they do some sort of Deluxe Pitch Fork in this format.

Glad they’ve made a claim to own this space & brought in loads of ideas from their different pedals. Whilst it seemed crazy to pay £150 just for organ sounds or whatever, now they’ve made a multi-unit it just seems too damn complicated
Still really cool though

I have nothing to offer anybody, except my own confusion?

Re: EHX POG 3
I really like the aesthetic and just how much it can do. I'm seriously impressed by EHX here.
However, it just isn't for me and I'd never need that much pitch shifting ability. I loved my POG2 and had it for many years but my taste and playing style has changed so that I just wouldn't use it.
$650 though!?!?!? Seems like an insane amount of money to me.

Holy crap, I didn't notice the price. Damn, that's a lot. It sounds nice, and I love the Whammy-style expression stuff. I'm wondering if they will drop prices for POG2 or anything like that...

I use a mcro POG on a couple songs to fatten up sections, and I love it...and this is impressive, but it's not going to be used that often. Maybe there will be some on the used market in a few years.

I had one for a very hot sec, and didn't dive that deep. Doesn't it only have a couple presets? I did forget about that though

9 I seem to remember? Bit clunky getting through them though - either scroll through 1-9 in order with the footswitch (going 4 to 3 for example a pain) or turn the preset pot to get through them up or down.Shadoweclipse13 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2024 9:05 amI had one for a very hot sec, and didn't dive that deep. Re: EHX POG 3
Very cool! This seems to bring alot of the features of the HOG into it, with the freeze/glissando and whammy stuff. I’ve had the POG2, Hog1 or hog2 on all my boards for like 15 years now. They are such a great tool for layering, especially in looping rigs.
I don’t think I’ll be running out to buy one anytime soon, but I’m glad the option is there!

Re: EHX POG 3
I’ve held out on buying a POG for over 10 years now. This might be the one that finally gets me to grab one. The price on these new pedals is absurd. But, so is the price of everything
