But, yeah, it sounds like a Rat. It sounds great. It does have a distinctive, attractive look sitting in front of my amp, and it's made me mess more than usual with just "Rat and reverb" playing over the past week or so.
They're apparently GC exclusive, but that seems to extend to Musician's Friend, too. My Japanese warranty card inside (the box is typical Rat stuff) has a second serial number somewhere in 37xxx, maybe that's an indicator of the run size, or maybe it's nothing.
But, fun to have, better looking than I expected, and brings everything from crunchy clang to saturated, fuzzed-out sustain.
