Hey Guys!

It's been a while. I don't post much anymore, but I've been hunting this for over 10 years! That needed a post!

Bought it yesterday in Sweden, just can't wait to get back home and plug it in!!! :w00t: Sounded amazing when I tried it in Sweden!

A classic case of "expect delay". Hope it's worth its weight/worth the wait. ;D

The pics are working for me.

Anyway, congrats on the acquisition! Time to get your Nels Cline on! :-*
The cool thing about fretless is you can hit a note...and then renegotiate.

I have been hunting it for over 10 years!

Something was bugging me, when I got home and plugged it in. At first I couldn’t put my finger on it, but something was off.

The slow-fast setting didn’t work. 🤔 So I knew I had to go to the studio and clean the faders and stuff.

I knew it had been in storage for at least 10 years.

So I went to the studio cleaned the switches, and suddenly it worked! And I was a happy camper. Until it wouldn’t turn off. 🤯
So I spent like two hours figuring out why it wouldn’t do that. Until I narrowed it down to the Speed slider. So when the speed is all the way to the bottom… It will not turn off.

I think it’s a grounding issue and I might need to clean that one some more. I’m just waiting to get some slider grease.

But as for now it works perfect(as long as the speed isn’t set to 0) , and is quiet like I have never heard an EHX pedal be before! ::)

I did a video before the fix, and after, might do a small yt video of before and after.

Awesome! I've been wanting one of these for a long time as well. For now, I use the Hazarai Memory Man which has most of the features of the 16 second DD hidden inside it.

Give the Maneco Labs Sixteen Second Delay a shot. I have the version without the sliders, just knobs, and it definitely does the 16 second delay thing. Nels away to your heart's content.

I’ve looked at it, and I have even talked with Mr. Nels about it. There is something about the sound quality that is different. Haven’t tried it; but seems like putting a on optional high cut filter on, would be smart.

Kind of like the same thing with the DL-4 mk2. The looper in that thing is shit.

but if you use the looper in the HX effects it’s great if you hi- and lo cut.
