Surfybear compact reverb

Thanks for the replies, folks. I've been communicating with Ted at Surfy Industries. He thought that the pan was bad, maybe a broken connection. So I tried it with the pan from my original Surfybear kit build, and I bought a replacement pan, and I'm still getting the weird fuzz/od sound. I wonder if it has something to do with the power supply since this model was made for the European market. The seller mentioned that it could overdrive more if you use a 9v source instead of a 12v source. I've tried both and gotten the same fuzz sound. Checking back in with Ted...
