Holy crap!!! BOSS-tastic!!!

As far as I'm concerned, BOSS never went away - they've been the cornerstone of my electric playing for years now. So much so I barely even think about it, and skipped over this thread a dozen or so times before I went "oh yeah, I suppose I do use BOSS stuff".
I *cough* have no idea what you're talking about. I've been staying out of this conversation, but I also have amassed a significant collection of Boss pedals and wanted to warn you of the LM-2...I had to buy a few to get one that actually works fully. The pots on them seem prone to breaking and replacements are not easy to come by. I still have at least one that I think I can repair...sal paradise wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2024 4:50 amI saw that listing. Crazy someone actually bought it.
Considering I’ve spent probably £2k on 15 MIJ pedals recently, I should have considered it. At my rate the whole collection of 150 will cost something like £125k+ without the special editions etc.
No, I’m not planning on buying even more, especially not stuff like PSM-5 or LM-2 that have no practical use… that would be stupid![]()
Thanks for the tip! I’ll be waiting for your full update here soon. I’m gonna do some kind rundown in a few weeks myself.ryland wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2024 5:39 amI *cough* have no idea what you're talking about. Oh wow! I love seeing them all grouped together like that, all those wonderful rainbow colours. If they were colour themed in the same order as a rainbow rather than mostly date order I think, I'd probably flip out.
This is grouped by neither colour, type or even year. What were they thinking? Like they started with an idea & got bored halfway through
Good point! Even with the crazy rare pedals that would be impossible to shift, an average of $450 per pedal is about as far from good value as I could imagine.
Even if it were screw, is it the 14 pin chip? I think there’s 4 versions of the OD-1 (five, if you count the 40th anniversary boxset model).AwesomeWelles wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2024 1:59 amThis is the most perfect collection of Boss pedals that I've ever seen. That must've taken years to compile!
My only gripe is that the OD-1 is not a silver screw one, but a later variant.![]()
