Only 3 lbs (1.46kg)!
Surely you jest, sir!

And no knock on my G50, mind. Still much lighter than any 'real' Marshall head I've encountered!
No joking. In terms of the heavy stuff (transformers) they weigh about the same for either amp. That BF50 just has a shorter chassis and cab, so you save a bit of weight there.
Wait, what? 3lbs? I'm sure mine weighs more like 15-20 :D A Hammond 290EEX (or similar) is about 7lbs on it's own!
Silly Rabbit, don't you know scooped mids are for kids?

no no no.....3lbs LESS that the amp I made for stevejamsecono. Which is basically just due to the different head width and extra wood/aluminum involved.

Love the aesthetic of that board (bar the sideways tuner, that always gives me the jitters :D ). Mine's exclusively black and silver now too so obviously I'm a fan of the utilitarian look.

Unfortunately the Model H hasn't worked with my current setup for at least a year...I keep trying to include it, only to take it off again.

Since I use a Suhr Reactive Load IR, I already have more than enough gain from the Klon and the ParaEq, not to mention whatever fuzz I am using...and then there is the gain boost in the Ebo E-verb that is also in the chain...the H into these mushes things out.

I found it far better into a clean amp, which is how I used to run my Matchless pre-Suhr RLIR for many years.

Still, I will likely keep it forever, it can be really useful for situations where I could be stuck with a clean non-master volume amp...plus, the odds of finding another one from the original 4-knob run down the line is fairly unlikely. :)

It's a very cool board. I could leave the beano on all the time. The surface explodes when both knobs are full. I have a bliss factory that takes days to decide which of the 40 switches to use. Don't get me wrong it's a very versatile pedal but the simplicity of setting a 2 knob fuzz full on can't be beat.

Wired up a larger board for my recording project...nothing groundbreaking, just old favourites. :-*

Oof, nice board! How does the Mason compare to the Klon? Since they're somehow related, but not quite...? Been curious about that.
