Has anyone gotten a notification other than order received?

i've been in direct contact with them, as i managed to screw up my own order and needed assistance. don't ask -

anyway they do exist and they're very helpful, they're just on a skeleton staff or something right now because of the shutdown. i'm not worried about fulfillment -

They actually just got delivered, so they are getting things out quick, just no tracking numbers

That’s been happening with quite a few things I’ve ordered from various places lately. I ordered an AC15 mod kit from John Fromel, which I got a few days after I ordered it, and it still shows as waiting for pickup from him. I’m hoping the few other things that look like they haven’t shipped actually have.

That was usps, not sure yet about ups. I’m watching for them through the window like a cat at an aquarium.

Rubbernecking on sale

So this is my first compressor and was playing with it last night. I'm impressed, it doesn't really color the sound until you dime it, it is fairly transparent and does what it is supposed to do.

Been playing around with it for over a week and I dig it as well. Definitely worth the price and then some.

I also grabbed the compressor having never had one on my board. So far I dig it. Also have the comp knob up pretty high, but it's fun for sustain effects

So, I now have the 280 compressor, the Rubberneck delay, the 201 Phasor, the Looking Glass Overdrive (which is amazing), The Gonkulator, and the 250 Overdrive Preamp.

IMO, they're all big winners in their categories, especially the 280, the Looking Glass, and the Rubberbeck.

I was pretty interested in the Looking Glass for awhile but went in another direction. Seems like a real nice drive pedal though.

the latest i saw said the sale ends May 30. i've picked up the 201 and 280 so far, and will probably succumb to the siren song of the 250 before all is said and done -

interestingly, the guy who led the Digitech/DOD product development team that brought all these to market before the big purge has set up his own shop with a hand-built line: https://www.spiralelectricfx.com

I should probably buy another Rubberneck while I can, huh? I really do love mine. Been playing it through the AC15 this week and it truly does sound incredible.

If DOD wasn't being phased out I'd love to see them do a slightly dumbed down one, just because I never really use any of the extra features and I'm always nudging the knobs by accident. Also they could stand to take another pass on the modulation circuit, it detunes way too easily.

I am in love with both the Looking Glass and the Rubberneck. The 280 is the only compressor I've ever liked, FWIW.

thanks for heads up on this thread. partner and I recently picked up the 250 and phaser for her, carcosa and the rubberneck for me.

the rubberneck isn't as good as i'd hoped. totally worth $120. I was looking for an affordable replacement for my old DMM, but it's not quite close enough.

wired up my own fs3x footswitch for extra control.

the oscillation comes on waaaay too fast, and once the pedal starts clipping it just sounds too edgy. not smooth like the memory man or a boss dm-3. the modulation isn't very inspiring, but it's not bad by any means, will run some mod through the effects loop.

the rubberneck feature is neat, as is the regen switch, just a shame the clipping is so harsh.

that said,bummer that Harman axed DOD. they and digitech have made some good stuff recently, these pedals are cheap enough to keep around.

Probably good to get in on. Still enjoying the 250 I got last time they did this and digging my polara. It's really too bad they are cleaning house. Last few years the quality they were putting out was really high.
