I had been putting off buying this pedal for a few years after wanting one. Finally caved in and went for it. A truly great pedal with inspiring sounds throughout.

I had an FRV-1 and used it with my Tiny Terror. When I traded the Tiny Terror for my drip edge Bandmaster Reverb, I had a tough time selling the FRV-1, nonone wanted it, now they are discontinued and are worth at least double what I paid new. I wish I held onto it as I want a reverb i can use in front of my dirt pedals. I feel like i can never make money on gear, i sell gear before it appreciates. At least I got a good deal on the Bandmaster Reverb (Tiny Terror and $200 for the BR and a black russian muff) so I just end up even in the end.

For me, it's the ODB-3. It's a bass overdrive, but it works brilliantly on guitar. Incredible for big, detailed, grainy overdrive. Bass and treble controls, as well as a wet/dry knob, make it super usable.

Definitely a great pedal. Gets a bad rap because it's too gnarly for most people seeking a "bass overdrive."

Surprised to go through 7 pages and no mention of the PS-3! Maybe the weirdest sounds from any boss pedal? Mode 7 is amazing, but I also love the way the delay glitches out when you turn the time knob.
