I've been digging the Volante, but I need to know. Does the reverse delay on the SOS (infinity mode, etc, etc) mode requires a tap for each strum?
Everytime i want it to reverse do I need to press the switch? I'd like it to reverse everything without having to tap the pedal everytime, but I think that's not possible. Am I missing something?

Re: Strymon Volante question
I think it simulates tape direction, so if you record in SOS loops continue in one direction until you hit the reverse button, the whatever is recorded after that will be moving forward in that direction while everything else is reversed until you reverse direction again.

Yeah, that's what I thought too. But I'm following the steps I saw on the internet etc and it's not an always on reverse. It's just the repetitions that you tap to be reversed. Unless I'm missing something.

Re: Strymon Volante question
To anyone who might be interested. This is how it works (confirmed in another place).
So only active repetitions reverse when you press the button. It is not sn always on reverse delay as the dd-7 or the hazarai (and as far as I'm aware it cannot do that).

Re: Strymon Volante question
Pretty simple. 3 switches: Left - Center - Right
Press right switch until the lights change. You're now on Sound on Sound mode.
Press left switch until the lights (on the left switch) are blinking.
Strum a note
Press left switch and the active repetitions reverse.
Hope it's clear. Sound on Sound mode is the looping mode. If you play and press the right switch it starts looping.

Re: Strymon Volante question
Yes, understood.
I haven't explored the looping yet, which explains why I didn't know what this was about!
thx!
