OBNE guy just arrived. Board now runs guitar > Signal Blender [loop A: Slö > MXR reverb > MS 70 CDR/loop B: DOD compressor > DOD phasor > Black Spiral > BMP] > amp.

The loops are processed in parallel to the dry through, which can be boosted or cut with the Clean (green) knob. Reverbs now all run 100% wet. It's like having a mixer on the board.

I’ve always wanted to try this, but my setup is so simple it doesn’t seem to be worth it.

Even just running one of the fuzzes, it's like I've gotten a really good clean blend knob. Running dirt and time/modulation stuff in parallel and adding the clean to the mix starts to sound like 3 well-synced guitars.

I need to shuffle things around for ergonomics. I'm not in love with having the input from the guitar all the way in the top left. Maybe put the Signal Blender on the bottom row? I had my eye on a unit from Saturnworks that was pretty much the same functionality but was oriented like a long true bypass loop strip. I went with this one for the phase correction switches (the red and blue pushbuttons) and I'm glad I did, as there are occasional phasey things happening.

It is. I was not familiar with this particular box until now.

I bet a Rat in one loop and a swampy old analog delay in the other would be delightful.

I love this so much.

yeah I eyed these up but they were a bit pricey for me, especially considering addition postage cost so far. I like what a LS-2 can do and this is essentially next level.

Looks like a seriously useful bit of kit. Could one use it as an elaborate ABY box, or does it need to have signal coming through the returns/out?

You can use it as a 3-to-1 or a 1-to-3 mixer. You do not need signal at both send and return.

I had the boss ls-2. Maybe it was me, but I think it added just a very little "noise" to the sound. Just enough to be noticed, and boring.
But putting in parallel a muff-like fuzz (Basic audio tri-ram) and a superfuzz (smallsound-bigsound buzzz) was just fuzz heaven paradise (in bedroom setup, not sure it qualifies for live).

I'd like to try the Electro-Harmonix Switchblade PRO. Can do parallel, series, A/B/A+B, add dry, and more.. But I mainly play acoustics now.

Plan on getting something similar as a gift. Anyone have any experience with the Gigrig Wetter Box or EHX Tri Parallel? The EHX has an easy layout, but read reviews of the pedal failing. The Gigrig is more compact, only 2 loops, but can do delay/reverb trails. Only issue I read is Channel A is inverted which may be of concern to some pedal setups.

I wish any of these companies made something like this, but as a single-loop in a small enclosure. The EQD Swiss Things (Swiss Thing?) is the same way, but for me, I use a bypass loop pedal at different parts of my board, so multiple loops like this don't work, especially for as big of an enclosure as it is. I love the functionality though!!!!
