Is anybody looking at getting a Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 3 Plus?
I’m contemplating replacing my Mondo with the 3 Plus, partly because of the larger number of higher current outputs (offering greater flexibility/capacity), and partly because of the smaller size and lighter weight of the new unit.
Potential ‘shortcomings’ of the 3 Plus include the lack of voltage ‘sag’ outputs, and the lack of 18V outputs (would still need to double-up to get 18V). Neither of these would be a deal breaker for me.
Thoughts? Comparisons with Cioks and Strymon models seem to come up a lot in the reading i’ve done.

I have never wanted to use sag. I have a few fuzzes, but whatever. PP3 is cool.

It all depends on you power needs, both V and mA, and how many pedals you need to power.

I’ll need to power up to 18v for Philosopher’s Tone. I may try to use the 1A extension meant for an extension unit for a SurfyBear Metal Reverb if a) I eventually get one and b) VooDoo Labs signs off on this idea.
