Thanks for the input everyone. I actually found a NOS 90s/00s DMM that I'm going to mess around with. It was significantly outside my $300 budget, but you only live once, right?

Congratulations!!! Maybe my favorite pedal ever.

If I'd only gotten one of these years ago, I probably never would have gone down the endless delay quest.

Ha! That never happens!

Usually it’s; this one sounds good, but I bet I can find something better. I stopped looking for analog delay when I got an OG DMM, but I would not mind a Fairfield Circuitry Meet Maude, or a Moog for a different sound. Neither is necessary as a replacement though, which is the main reason besides money that I dont have them.

You have done well, my young Paduan.

I’m actually serious here: I had a specific sound in my head that I wanted (my question as a naive guitar player to the guys at the vintage store: “what sounds like the chameleons?” They pointed me to an AD80, which is close and amazing, but I spent years trying to get a good Chorused delay — they used a Roland re-501 — and the DMM is darn close).

DMM is by far my favorite delay pedal ever. The prices are getting crazy but as far as sound goes I don't think I've heard a better delay. They smear and warble just right.
