I will sometimes “bow” wound strings by scraping them with the edge of the pick at a low angle near the bridge.

Ok so the SY1 plus the Astral Destiny and a little flange from the Deco is pretty terrific. Lush and very orchestral but not the old school country strings I was hoping for

Regardless, lots of fun

Jonny does a pretty good job emulating strings here with just a coin and ton of reverb... maybe you don't need another pedal?
