Well guys, guess what? As I am at a point where I can afford such things to sit in my basement, I bought this new flanger pedal. The text on the link says it's designed for live use, but it also seems to be okay for basement use.

Much like the wave pattern that flangers generate so does my like/not like so much relationship with flangers go. I have gone through the black MXR reissue, Moogerfooger 108M (twice!), the ADA reissue, yellow Maxon one, mini-Electric Mistress clone, and maybe some others. When I get into that lower wave segment I seem to switch out flanger pedals quite often.

Gotta say I like it. It does this cool through sound thing that I have not experienced before where as the sound it at a peak it seems to 'rotate.' I know that might sound silly but it's the best I can do to describe it. It's a really solid pedal if you like such things.

I think Chase Bliss and Hologram Electronics are top tier basement player effects.

I am a 2nd fl apartment player so I have a different set of base effects companies. Proco and Red Panda.
